HOORAY!

This just in: Fox is on the verge of announcing a full-season pickup for Glee, sources confirm. The show, which has performed solidly in the ratings, initially received a 13-episode order from the network. The back-nine pickup brings the total number of first-season episodes to — I suck at math but I think I’ve got this — 22.

This episode was Lea filled and she was wonderful! She gave such emotion and I love the layers Rachel Berry has not just a one dimensional “type a person”. Love her and “Take a Bow” was so heartfelt. <3

Musical Numbers

Early ratings are in for the season premiere of the new Fox comedy “Glee,” which was viewed by some 7.3 million “Gleeks” last night and received a 3.3 rating for adults aged 18-49, according to the Hollywood Reporter. These are pretty strong numbers for the music-filled comedy, which boasts theatre stars Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison among its ensemble.

In comparison, the May pilot of “Glee” was seen by 9.6 million, bolstered by its timeslot, which immediately followed the finale of “American Idol.”
