The season one finale of Glee will air Tuesday, June 8, Fox has announced. The musical comedy, which stars Jane Lynch, Cory Monteith and Lea Michele, will move to Tuesdays night beginning June 1. As part of Fox’s summer schedule, encores of Glee will air Wednesdays at 8pm from June 16, serving as a lead-in for So You Think You Can Dance. The show will also play Phoenix’s Dodge Theatre on May 18, followed by stops at Los Angeles’ Gibson Ampitheatre on May 20-21, Chicago’s Rosemont Theatre on May 25-26. Most of the cast members from the hit television show have signed on to appear in the stage production, including Broadway star Lea Michele, who plays the overly eager high school student Rachel Berry. Other cast members who are scheduled to appear on stage include Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Cory Monteith, Heather Morris, Amber Riley, Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, Harry Shum, Jr., Dijon Talton and Jenna Ushkowitz. Glee’ Live! In Concert! will kick off its four-city tour May 18 in Phoenix, at the Dodge Theatre. It then moves to the Gibson at Universal City for two performances (May 20 and 21) followed by two nights at the Rosemont Theatre near Chicago on May 25 and 26. The tour ends at New York’s Radio City Music Hall for two performances on May 28 and 29. Ryan Murphy, who created the TV series, also organized the stage production, which will feature musical numbers from the show including “Sweet Caroline,” “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Somebody to Love.” In a statement, Murphy said that fans’ response “to our little show has been so immediate and so gratifying, we wanted to get out and thank them live and in person.” Tickets for the Glee concert tour will be on sale via Ticketmaster. So far, looks like only the L.A. and Chicago shows have presale information available: American Express card holders may buy tickets March 5-12, while the general public on-sale is set for March 13. But Michele insists she can learn to live with the condition – because her job is so much fun. She tells Britain’s OK! magazine, “We all did this one dance number a couple of weeks ago that was extremely gruelling. Now I have back spasms every so often. I’ll be talking and be like, ‘Excuse me a minute,’ and my back will just spaz out. And then I’ll be fine. But we ignore it because we’re all just happy doing what we do. Dianna Agron caught up with Corey Monteith, while Mark Salling entertained himself with a miniature dirt bike nearby and Chris Colfer tooled around on his Razor scooter. Kevin McHale buried himself in a good book, and new fashion all-star Lea Michele traded couture for her casual wardrobe. The gang looked happy to be back together, though they’ll soon welcome new members into their fold – Jennifer Lopez is rumored to be making a cameo, while Molly Shannon is confirmed to play a guest-starring role as Jane Lynch’s nemesis.  Glee auditions are going to be held in February for anyone who wants to audition for the show. Yes, you would be on set with Jane Lynch and Lea Michele if you land the part. Glee won big at the SAG awards, and they are looking for three new characters to be in the upcoming second season. If you decide to apply, which will be open to amateurs and professionals, then you need to be ready to match the cast when the auditions open in February.
